I love this autumn feeling, the feeling of a crisp autumn morning. Golden leaves lay scattered on the ground, reminding you of the chillier winter ahead. It is a transitional season that calls for warmer clothes, hot chocolates, pumpkin spice lattes and the art of layering in order to stay cozy for the chillier days. Remember that this season is the most appropriate to layer your tops, for a comfy and extra warm result. Strappy lightweight dresses and sandals are left behind and jackets, cardigans and beautiful knitwear are coming out of the closets to take their place.
There is also a great transitional piece of clothing which is perfect for the days that aren’t too cold to wear a coat, but either too hot to wear only your top. It couldn’t be anything else than the all time classic bomber jacket. Bomber jacket, is actually the ultimate outerwear when Winter isn’t here yet. A versatile piece that looks super cool with everything, especially when it features easy autumn-y colours like burnt orange, black and khaki.
A bomber jacket like that, is my choice for today’s outfit. My favorite comfort piece that I combined with a very simple black top and black jeans. in order to bring all the attention to the jacket. Same coloured top and bottom, creates the illusion of a taller figure; a great tip to consider when picking out your clothes for a special day. To complete this look, I paired it with a chic black shoulder bag with gold metal studs all over it, and simple ankle boots for an effortless touch. Simple, comfortable yet stylish and cool looking.
Generally, khaki coloured clothes have something that makes them really versatile. This colour manages to go perfectly, with everything else you want to wear and instantly elevates your appearance. Whether you want a khaki jacket, khaki shoes or even khaki coloured pants, you can wear them easily with any other colour of your preference. Seems like it’s the best choice for Autumn.
In how many different ways you will style your khaki pieces? Any suggestions?
Until the next one, rock your bombers and stay warm girls!
