The early winter months of the year are a bit tricky when it comes to shopping for new clothes. Most shops still stock leftover sale stuff and the weather is not warm enough to wear new season collections. But come March, we all want to shed heavy winter clothing and prepare for the new season. Spring also means updating your Indian wardrobe. With that in mind, today’s post is a fresh new look for your Indian wardrobe in collaboration with Jeewan Kaur
I love pastel colours and stock a few pastels in my Indian wardrobe. The one shade I was missing was pastel blue or steel blue colour. But thanks to Jeewan Kaur, I now have this pretty outfit in my collection. Jeewan Kaur is a young designer based out of Bangkok and is known for her bespoke customised designs. When she approached me for a possible collaboration, I was keen to feature her on the blog because she does customised designs and also mummy/baby outfits. I had a quick Q&A session with her and here are some snippets from my interview with her.
Tell us something about your brand
I tend to segment this question into two areas – one being current fashion trends, the other being ‘personal trends’. As a designer, I live in a realm of vivid colors, dimensions, beauty and materials. My clients see this reflection from different a perspective where fashion and style intertwine… giving rise to individualistic patterns that shape choice and that is why I find it so important to give my client personal attention, to understand every requirement, no matter how big or small.
How can I get a custom outfit created for me and shipped to London
It’s very simple. I will discuss a bit to know you and then we send you the fabrics and designs for your approval. After the design is approved we send our online measuring chart with details. We ship the order within 20 to 25 days, depending on the work required.
What style do you specialise in?
We can serve you with any design and category if it falls under clothing, Men and Women including.
Do you do bespoke kids clothes as well
Yes, we do bespoke kids also. Now its a trend for families to be in matching clothes. We do all kinds of customisation for our clients.
How long would it take for my outfit to get ready after I place my order?
After receiving 50% advance, we take 20 to 25 days to finish the outfit, it again depends on the amount of work to be done on the outfit.
Would you be exhibiting in London anytime soon
Yes, I would love to exhibit in London, will work out details soon.
