Ladies and Gentlemen, get ready for the freezing winters ahead! The mercury has been plummeting to sub zero temperatures lately. Dressing up to repel the chill and still look your best can be a struggle, when all you want to do is to stay in bed. Winters do call for festive outdoor Christmas fairs and markets. So get some cosy comfort to your winter wardrobe and get ready to brave the chill in style.

Todays’ post is all about how to dress warm and still look good. The outfit I am sporting today is super comfy and everyday winter style; something you can sport at Christmas, markets, walk in the woods, school pick up and more. The real winner of this look is the extremely warm quilted coat from Mango . This coat has become my trusted companion to brave the cold this season. To me it feels like a wearable duvet, perfect for my early, dark mornings. Wearing this coat on its own would be boring so I teamed it up with some complementary layers like a cosy grey knitwear from H&M and red plaid scarf from Gap.

Try moving away from all black/grey looks by adding striking accessories like a bright patterned scarf. This is a very laid back and relaxed look for your winter wardrobe. I added some more warmth by wearing these ever so comfortable knee high boots from M&S. These are one of the most comfortable knee high shoes I have very owned. I don’t even feel like talking them off – super snug and extremely comfortable to wear. The cutest bit of this look is my pom-pom beanie from Asos. Pom-pom beanies have a been a craze this season. They are a cute alternative to hats. Style Tip : Wear the hat slightly back to show of your fringe.

The trick to winter wear is in styling your main coat/jacket.  Padded jackets have flooded the catwalk and the high street. It is a major trend this season. So wrap yourself in a gorgeous duvet like jacket and enjoy the festive outdoor atmosphere in style.
