I get so many queries on where to find nice Indian wear in London. Most of my acquaintances too struggle with the same problem. Personally I have always shopped my Indian wardrobe from India itself. But there have been times when I really needed something here in London and I too struggled to find something nice. Thanks to my blog, I had an opportunity to connect with some lovely brands based here which offer distinctively different designs; designs which I personally prefer and something I am more likely to wear. Today on the blog I will talk about two such brands who are trying to change people’s mindset towards Indian fashion by focusing on the authenticity of the fabric and embroideries.
First let me introduce S9 Muses. It’s the brainchild of Sita and Anjali – two fashion forward girls with a vision to offer unique designs to their customers. S9 Muses is an ode to their childhood and is derived from the neighbourhood known as Section 9 where they both spent their care-free days in Kenya. The girls are doing a brilliant job in sourcing some new-age Indian designer wear for an international audience. In their collection you will find likes of Raw Mango, Ilk, Ka/Sha,Priya Chhabria. The differentiating factor about their collection is that it is timeless and will never go out of fashion. The designs are classic with deep rooted Indian craftsmanship. Below are some of S9 Muses designs.

Next one is my all time favourite brand based in London. Jyoti Chandhok – Quintessential Indian bridal and party wear with a regal touch. Jyoti’s design bring a touch of old work charm. She herself is a connoisseur of Indian art, jewellery and fashion. The clothes do reflect her personality which is very regal and charismatic. Jyoti’s clothes make me fall in love with them. Every piece is unique and exclusive in its own way. Below are some of Jyoti’s designs.

For the first time in London these two lovable brands have joined hands to offer London shoppers a taste of classic and royal Indian wear. I am happy to collaborate with THREADS- Indian fashion trunk show as a stylist/fashion blogger. Also I am quite excited to host a mini-styling workshop at the event to share some tips on how to style for different occasions. I will also cover the art of sari draping so don’t miss this fabulous event.

Looking forward to start the new year with some fashion fun at THREADS. I hope to see some of you there. Do ping me if you are planning to come.
