Top 5 Autumn Knitwear

top 5 knitwear for Autumn

As we’re getting closer and closer to winter the weather gets even colder and the need for some cosy and comfortable knitwear, gets bigger day by day. Unfortunately, we have to forget all of our beautiful tees or light-weight shirts and switch them up with some heavier and warmer fabrics, ideal for the months ahead. Cashmere, wool or 100% cotton, are the ones that we have to look up to.

Unfortunately for our summer clothes, but fortunately for our winter mood, all the high street designers, came up with amazing jumpers that will definitely satisfy our fashion hunger. From extreme oversized to ruffled or bell-sleeved, there is something for everyone. Even if you can’t afford many pieces from the high-end market, there’s no need to worry, as there are equally beautiful and high quality pieces in more affordable brands as well.

I gathered my favourite pieces, that stood out to me the most and I can’t wait to style them! These are my picks of the best trends for this season to help you take some serious inspiration, and incorporate some (or even all) of them in your winter wardrobe.

Off-Shoulder

We loved the off-the-shoulder trend all summer long and it continues to be on point. Try it with jeans or skirts to add a feminine touch to any casual outfit. I chose this from Asos; simple, fashionable and in a very good price too.

Bell Sleeves

Bell sleeved knits, make a “quiet” statement and spice up even the simplest outfit. They are the perfect way to look pretty in warm clothes. My favourite so far is this, from Topshop.

Cross Over Ties

If you love a beautiful knit, but you are bored by plain designs and want something extra, then this trend is definitely for you. Knits with crossover ties at the hemline like this from French Connection, or with a crossover pattern all over them like this from Mango, are the perfect options.

High Neck

High neck knits, are the perfect solution for the chillier days. In addition, they make you look extremely elegant and well-dressed. Pair a piece like this from French Connection with your favourite jeans and you’re good to go.

Cold days are now sorted. Time for a cup of hot chocolate, right?
