Are you interested in doing a non-stop bus tour around London in under 2 hrs? If yes, then keep on reading.
Last month Megabus launched its London service and The Red Notebook was invited to their VIP bloggers event. I was lucky enough to experience rooftop bus tours in beautiful London sunshine. Driving through historic landmarks was a visual treat in itself and I got to be a tourist in my own city. Here is an overview of my experience with Megabus.
VIP experience at London Eye
Before we started our tour, Megabus surprised us with a VIP experience at the official London Eye. Even after being in London for so long, I had never been on the London Eye. It was really exciting to be on it finally and view the city from high up. My love for London was strongly reinforced after this trip.
VIP experience meant that we had our own pod and could skip the entry queues. On arrival, we were treated to a glass of champagne and our tour guides helped us spot historic landmarks. The weather was gorgeous and it made the experience even more memorable,
Historic London landmarks
After our VIP experience, we were taken down to our private bus tour. Megabus has now introduced non-stop 2 hrs open bus tours across London’s historic sights. These tours are non-stop and that’s why they are different from the regular hop-on and hop-off tours. The price is also easy on the pocket. I would say it’s an affordable and fun way to tour London’s key landmarks.
With Megabus’ newly converted buses you can see London for less. It will take you to 50 of the capital’s most famous sights in the space of just 2 hours. Prices start from just £1 plus a booking fee. Learn more on Megabus.com
I had a fun time being a part of this experience and look forward to doing this again with my friends and family. Here are some night time pictures from the tour, marking the end of a memorable London experience.
